The book "Our Heritage Homes" by the Fitzroy Township Historical Society shows some 354 heritage homes in the former Fitzroy Township. Homes that were more than 100 years old at the time of the book's compilation were considered to be "Heritage Homes."

The following small set of homes was selected to help illustrate the variety in the construction of these homes as well as the varied uses the buildings have had since their construction, and even their re-location since they were first constructed.
